The Marston Grange Education Barn is located at the rear of the farm overlooking views of open fields on the Royalist side of the battlefield with the White Horse of Sutton Bank off in the distance.
The Barn is a cosy, characterful and unusual space for educational events, creative activities or private social gatherings.
The event space can seat up to 40 people theatre style or, 32 people around tables arranged horse shoe, café/cabaret or banquet style.
Facilities include a fully fitted kitchen and cutlery and classic white place settings for up to 40 people. A laptop, projector and screen are available for talks and catering can be arranged for your event and tailored to your budget.
There is ample free parking at the rear of the barn or in the front yard.
Other facilities available alongside the barn include access to the summerhouse and an acre of formal gardens with a further acre of wildflower meadow usually in flower June to Sept.
There is also an outside seating area in the yards and the old Round House - where the horse used to work the wheels to separate the wheat from the chaff in the old barn. This building and the adjoining open roofs can be used for group activities such as hog roasts and barbeques and, together with the barn, provide a characterful all-weather area which can seat up to 100 people.
